Snow day in the south.

So far this year it has snowed not once but twice. I'm not talking a few pretty flurries, I'm talking can't go anywhere for two days kind of snow. The first time was a couple weeks ago and it was fun. We got out there and played a bit. Within 15 minutes we were back in the comfort of our home. Let's face it, we see snow maybe once a year and honestly I'm not a big fan of it. The main reason we went outside was so I could get some pictures to share with my loyal September Kate readers!!! Right now we are in the midst of the second snow. This time it's crazy!!! Power outages, freezing rain, sleet, snow, the works!! Luckily we have gas appliances and gas logs so even though we haven't had power we are still able to enjoy heat and cooked food. It's the little things right! This time around we haven't ventured out. We can't even get down the front stairs. At this point the novelty has worn off and with the electricity issues its more of a hassle than anything. The snow is melting now and let's hope when it goes away this time it goes away for good!!
You can see by the look on EK's face she's not a huge snow fan either. She's so over it. This is actually the last picture I snapped before we called it a day. That's all for now friends. Stay warm. XOXO

Some random cuteness

Remember the last post when I told you I was going to be sharing some old pictures with you? Well, I am keeping my promise! Here are some random shots from October 2013.
This was baby's first manicure. She makes it look like she's been doing it forever! She sat so still and was so patient. Stillness and patience are hard for a 3 year old to come by. Well guys, that's all I've got for now. I'll be back soon with some pictures from September '13. EK's birthday month

Long time no blog!

Hello friends and family! Happy 2014!! So, like most other people I have a new years resolution. My resolution is to blog more. It's been a long time since I've shared any photos with you and that needs to change! I love having a little creative outlet and I love sharing images of my world with you so look for more September Kate posts in 2014!! I always love new years. It's a chance to make a fresh start, to reflect on the year past and plan for the future. The Green family is coming off of the Christmas season high and we are so ready to get down to business and make this year the best it can be. Now, enough with the words. I'm going to show you some pictures from the holidays. Since its been so long since I've blogged you might see some flashback posts in the coming months. I'll revert to the past and share some special moments with you. Thanks so much for reading! Enjoy!!!
We have some great news from David and Heather, they are moving to Florence and we couldn't be happier. This is a pic of W and the girls on the weekend of their visit to Flo town. They haven't seen each other in a while but it's like they didn't miss a beat. We are so lucky that all the cousins really love each other and get along so well.
Here we are having lunch together. We were on our way to see Darby in her debut"101 Dalmations". She was the best pup in the group.
Granny delivers once again. She made a replica of EK's christening gown for the bitty baby. Granny is beyond talented. I wish I had half of the skills she has.
There you have it folks. A glimpse of December with September Kate. P.S. My blog is getting a makeover. I'm pretty excited about this. Stay tuned.
