First Birthday

Over the weekend we celebrated Emma Kate's first birthday. WHAT?!!? Time is flying by us at warp speed. Its hard to believe that she is already 1. So, in honor of our sweet little baby we threw a big 1st birthday bash!! We were so happy that all of our closest friends and family were there to help us celebrate this big day.

Cake time!!

Emma Kate is wondering why everyone is staring at her. She usually doesn't get this much attention when she eats.

Emma Kate has never met a sweet she didn't like (she gets that from her Mommy) so Marty and I thought she would devour the cake but we were wrong. She was reserved and just did a little tasting here and there. I guess she didn't want to look like a pig in front of all of her guests. What a little lady!

Last week of summer.

Hi everyone! It has been too long since my last post. Sincere apologies!! The lazy days of summer are gone and we are back in school for a while. Fortunately we were able to spend our last week of summer visiting with family. We had so much fun. We had a great time at the beach with the Greens and had a blast with Julie and Maura. 4th of July Weekend

For the Fourth of July we packed up the car and headed to Columbia. This happens pretty much every Fourth because my parent's neighborhood always hosts events for kids and a fireworks display. We had a great time. Lots of swimming and lots of eating. (Two of my favorite things)

Crawling?

Hi there everyone!! Well, the little one is almost 9 months old. Time is absolutely flying by. Here is a quick update: no teeth as of yet and she is showing signs of wanting to crawl but we haven't seen the finished product yet. She has been spotted "army crawling" but thats as far as it goes. Sometimes she gets in position to crawl but it hasn't happened yet.
The boys are doing well. They love the summer time and love sleeping in. Gabe is doing weight training in preparation for trying out for the middle school football team and Gavin has been taking karate, skateboarding, and hoop classes at the local yoga studio. They are having a blast!
